Um ul Momineen Hazrat Maimuna, |
His father's name is Harith bin Hazan and his mother is Hind bint Awf. The name of Hazrat Maimuna (RA) was earlier “Lamb” but the Holy Prophet (PBUH) changed his name to “Maimuna” (Blessed).
She was previously married to Abu Rahm ibn Abdul Aziz, but when the Holy Prophet (sws) went to Makkah for Umrah al-Qada in 5 AH, she became a widow. He talked to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and he married her and on his return from Umrah al-Qada, he exalted her in his company in the place of “Surf”.
Hazrat Maimuna has four real sisters whose names are as follows:
(3) Umm Al-Fadl Lababat Al-Kubra: She is the wife of Hazrat Abbas, the uncle of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) was born from her womb.
(1) Lababat Al-Sughra: She is the mother of Hazrat Khalid bin Al-Waleed Saif.
(3) Isma ': She was married to Abi bin Khalaf. He converted to Islam and is counted among the Companions.
(2) Izzah: These are also the Companions who were in the house of Ziad bin Malik.
Apart from these real sisters of Hazrat Maimuna (RA), there are also four sisters who are only from the mother whose names are as follows:
(2) Asmaa bint Umays: She was first in the house of Hazrat Ja'far bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with her). Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq married her and Muhammad bin Abu Bakr was born to her. Then after the death of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq, Hazrat Ali married her. He also had a son named Yahya.
(1) Salma bint Umays: She was the first martyr to marry Hazrat Hamza (RA) and she gave birth to a daughter whose name was “Ummah”. Ibn al-Had married, and they had two children, 'Abd al-Rahman and' Abd al-Rahman.
(3) Salamah bint Umays: She was married to Abdullah bin Ka'b.
(2) Umm Al-Mu'minin Hazrat Zainab bint Khazeema, who is known by the title of Umm Al-Masakin, has been mentioned above.
It was generally said of Hind Bint Awf, the mother of Hazrat Maimuna, that in terms of sons-in-law, no carpenter on earth was more fortunate than her, as the following persons were on her list of sons-in-law. Are:
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) He is the son-in-law of the Almighty.

A total of 76 hadiths have been narrated from Hazrat Bibi Maimuna, out of which seven hadiths are mentioned in both Bukhari and Muslim books and one hadith is only in Bukhari and one hadith is only in Muslim and the rest are hadiths. Mentioned in other books of hadith.
These are the last wives of the Holy Prophet (sws). After him, the Holy Prophet (sws) did not marry any other woman. Historians differ on the year of his death. But the well-known saying is that he died in 8 AH at "Sarf" where the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had married him. Ibn Sa'd has narrated from Waqidi that he died in 6 AH and Ibn Ishaq says that 5 AH is the year of his death. Almighty God knows best.
At the time of his death, his nephew Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) was present and he was the one who led the funeral prayers of Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) and brought him down to the grave. Abbas was present at the funeral of Hazrat Bibi Maimuna along with him. When the funeral was held, Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) raised his voice and said: O people! She is the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). You people should carry his body very slowly and do not shake his holy body. He was buried in the place in which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) exalted him for the first time.
