Biography of Prophets (peace be upon them) Hazrat Salih (peace be upon them).
Hazrat Saleh (peace be upon him) was the prophet of the people of Thamud. After the destruction of Hazrat Hud's nation of Aad, the descendants of Thamud reached Arabia. Their country was between Syria and Hijaz... and was connected with Shahratjaz. The name of their valley was Wadi Quri.
Hazrat Saleh (A.S) Nation of Samud |
These people were very tall. They built their houses by carving the mountains. He was an expert in carving stones. They carved stones and carved idols. Then idolatry became common among them. When these people became oblivious to the remembrance of Allah. So Allah Almighty sent Hazrat Saleh (peace be upon him) as a prophet.(Tafsir Azizi)
Your appearance was the best among all of them..... and your lineage was also high.
Allah Almighty said in Surah A'raf:
And to the people of Thamud We sent their brother Hazrat Saleh (peace be upon him) as a prophet. He said to his people. O my people! Serve Allah. There is no god but He . '
Only a few people believed in you. There were less strong and poor people. The great leaders and wealthy people of the nation continued to worship idols. They denied the blessings of Allah. He made fun of Hazrat Saleh (peace be upon him). They used to say jokingly.
"If we were not on God's seed religion, why would we have got all this rich wealth, lush green gardens and high and magnificent palaces, abundance of fruits, sweet rivers, today..." All these things have been given to us because we are on the right religion, on the other hand, look for yourself... those who are following you, look at them. who are
Then he would say to those who had believed in him: Has admonition come to him while we were there?
Muslims would answer them.
" No doubt ! We have believed in their message. "
Then they would reply.
We will not believe it. These arrogant and rebellious people did not accept the invitation of Hazrat Saleh (peace be upon him).
Finally, your people told you.
If you are true, show a miracle.
On this, Hazrat Saleh (peace be upon him) said: "I will show you the miracle according to your wish." But even after that, if you do not believe, then the punishment of Allah will come upon you.
On this he said: "Every year we go out of the city on such and such a date." They also take the idols with them wearing good clothes. Then they ask for their needs. So come with us..... Ask your God for your purpose... Then you will see. What does your God give you and what does our God give us?
Hazrat Saleh (peace be upon him) accepted their words. Finally, the day came when they had to go out. Along with Hazrat Saleh (peace be upon him), there were few Muslims who believed in him. When they reached the Eidgah, they decorated their idols very well and placed them on the boards in front of them. Then he started asking them for his needs with great politeness. Hazrat Saleh (peace be upon him) said: "If you have to ask, then ask for something unique from these idols?"
So that we can also see the power of your idols. Those people humbly prayed before the idols but nothing happened. Finally sat down bored.
On this, Hazrat Salih (peace be upon him) said: "Now you say....what shall I do to show you....I will pray to my Lord and it will happen....whatever you say." All of them looked at their elder and said to him: They should make a demand which they cannot fulfill.
The chief thought first, then said: If you are indeed the Messenger of Allah, take out from the bottom of our hill a she-camel that is ten months pregnant and fully strong, then she will give birth to a child in front of us, that child. It should also be of its shape, its color and appearance should be exactly like it. '
Hazrat Salih (peace be upon him) heard them and said:
If I fulfill this demand of you people by Allah's command, will you all accept me and my call to religion and come to faith?
They all agreed: "Yes!" We will bring faith. "Now Hazrat Salih (peace be upon him) offered two rak'at prayers. Then he prayed to Allah like this: "O Lord! No work is difficult for you. Fulfill their demand. Muslims also stood by you at that time.
He used to pray in these words that suddenly the mountain split, from it there was such a sound....like the animals give birth to a child...and he saw a camel coming out of the mountain exactly like that. As soon as she left the mountain, the camel would go into the forest... After some time, her child was born, that child was also of her color.
Referring to this incident, Allah Ta'ala said:
"Indeed, this clear proof (order) has come from Allah Almighty, this is a gift left for you (on your side) in the name of Allah Almighty." There is a decisive sign for you, just leave it open that (Allah the Exalted) do not harm him wherever He wills in the land, otherwise you will face a painful punishment.
(Surah A'raf Ruku 10)
After seeing this incident, they all said:
Indeed, the God of the righteous is the owner of great power. It should be believed.
In this way, their chief along with many of his companions converted to Islam.
He asked Hazrat Saleh (peace be upon him) to forgive his mistakes. The rest of the people persisted in their stubbornness. These unfortunates called Hazrat Saleh (peace be upon him) a sorcerer. On this, Hazrat Saleh (peace be upon him) said to him: "You have broken your promise." Now, there is only one way to avoid the punishment of Allah and that is that you treat this ostrich and her child with great respect. Do not hurt her in any way. There is good for you in it... As long as the camel and the child remain among you, the punishment of Allah will not come upon you... Leave it to eat and do not touch it with evil
"That camel was very tall... It was a miracle of Allah. He was very scared. Wherever she went, all the other animals would see her and run away. Everyone who came to the water would drink the water. In this way, the people were very worried. They complained to Hazrat Saleh (peace be upon him).
: Look, this camel drinks a lot of water...there is no left for us. '
On this, Hazrat Saleh (peace be upon him) said to him to solve this problem:
One day you take water from the well, the next day she will drink... and the day she drinks water, on that day you take her milk.
So it was done in this way... One day the camel would drink... On that day, those people would fill their vessels with camel's milk. On the second day, they would take water. This continued for some days... But then they got fed up with that camel... The reason for getting fed up was that it used to finish the grass from where it grazed and there was no grass for the other animals. saving Now those who raised animals,
They were very disgusted by this. Now they started thinking how to get rid of this camel so that their animals can graze freely.
On the other hand, he had promised that he would not misbehave with Otni. That's why they were afraid of breaking their promises lest the punishment of Allah would come. On this occasion, Satan came forward again. He provoked some young young women. The women declared:
Whosoever kills that camel...can marry whomever he wants among us? Hearing this announcement, two wandering youths got ready to kill Qadar bin Salat and Masad Ontani. These women also had many animals, so they are more worried than others.
In this way, these two villains started plotting the murder of Adi Ontani. Finally, one day he took arrows and swords and sat down on the way of the camel along with some of his companions. It was a narrow street. The camel came back from the pasture. Seeing him coming, Musaad shot an arrow in his bow and hit Antti on the forehead. Now they all attacked Otni making noise together, but Otni was so strong that she did not allow anyone to come near. The sword hit its shins, the camel fell to the ground. At the same time, the rest of the people will strike with swords. And finally they killed that camel. Who was called Naqtaullah.
Hazrat Salih (peace be upon him) had already warned them. Allah Almighty says in Surah Al-Shams.
"The people of Thamud denied because of their disobedience, so the Messenger of God said to them that the camel is a gift from God and leave it to roam in the land of God. So they denied the Prophet and the camel's hooves. Cut it off, so their Lord told them
