 بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

Umm Al-Muminin Hazrat Soodah, may Allah be pleased with her *

His father's name is Zama and his mother's name is Shamus bint Qais bin Amr.

Umm Al-Muminin Hazrat Soodah, may Allah be pleased with her

She was previously married to her cousin Sukran bin Amr. The couple had converted to Islam in the early days of Islam and had migrated to Abyssinia in the second migration from Abyssinia, but when they returned from Abyssinia to Mecca, their husband Sukran bin Amr She died and became a widow. She also had a son whose name was Abdul Rahman.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) narrates that Hazrat Soodah (RA) had a dream in which the Holy Prophet (PBUH) came to him on foot and placed his holy foot on his neck. When Hazrat Soodah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated this dream to her husband, he said that if your dream is true then I will surely die soon and the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) will marry you. Then on the second night, Hazrat Sooda (RA) had a dream that a new moon had fallen on her chest. He said in shock, "If your dream is true, then I will die very soon and you will marry the Holy Prophet (sws) after me." He died a few days later.

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) used to be very sad and depressed all the time after the death of Hazrat Khadija (PBUH). Seeing this, Hazrat Khula bint Hakeem (may Allah be pleased with her) submitted a request in the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): Marry Hazrat Sooda (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) so that your family economy may be settled and your grief may be removed by the companionship of a faithful and caring wife.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) accepted their sincere advice. So Hazrat Khula (RA) negotiated the relationship with the father of Hazrat Sooda (RA) and the marriage took place and these ummahs entered the category of believers and for the rest of their lives the Prophet (PBUH) Be exalted with the honor of marriage and be faithful and serve you with utmost devotion and love. She was very generous and generous. Once Hazrat Amir-ul-Momineen Umar sent a bag full of dirhams to his service. He asked, "What is this?" The bearer said that there are dirhams. He said that dirhams are sent in bags of dates and he got up and at the same time distributed all these dirhams to the poor and needy of Madinah.

There are five hadiths narrated by him in famous books of hadith, one of which is also in Bukhari Sharif. Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas and Hazrat Yahya bin Abdul Rahman are very prominent among his disciples.

There are different and contradictory statements regarding the year of his death. He prefers the statement that the year of his death is 5 AH and Sahib Akmal has also written the year of his death as Shawwal 5 AH but Hazrat Allama Ibn Hajar Asqalani has written in his book Taqreeb-e-Tahzeeb that his death It happened in Shawwal 5 AH.
