 بسم اللّٰہ الرحمٰن الرحیم

      The virtues, importance, and benefits of Bismillah-           


  "In Ibn Marduyah.  The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Such a verse has been revealed to me.  That such a verse has not been revealed to any prophet except Hazrat Sulaiman (Alaih e salam).

The virtues, importance, and benefits of Bismillah


                 Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says:  That when this verse was revealed

 * The clouds parted to the east.

  * The winds have subsided.

  * The sea stopped.

  * The animals listened.

  * Flames fell from the sky on the devils.

                 Allah Almighty swore by His honor and glory that whatever my name is mentioned on it will be blessed.

               

   Hazrat Ibn Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) says:  That whoever wants to escape from the nineteen healers of Hell (19).  بسم اللّٰہ الرحمٰن الرحیم.  It also has 19 letters. Each letter will be saved from every angel.

 

 It is narrated by Ibn Atiyah and it is supported by a hadith.

  In which I saw (30) over thirty angels that they were in a hurry.  The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said this when a person

  "Praise be to our Lord

 Congratulations Kathira Taiba Mubarak"

 Had read  It also has over thirty characters.  So many angels came down.

  Similarly, there are 19 letters in بسم اللّٰہ الرحمٰن الرحیم-. And there are also 19 angels.

                   (Musnad Ahmed).  The Companions who were behind him on the ride of the Prophet (peace be upon him).  His statement.  When the camel of the Holy Prophet (sws) slipped a little, I said, "Satan's Satanas."  The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Do not say that the Shaytaan flourishes with it and thinks as if it has fallen by its own power.

  By saying بسم اللّٰہ الرحمٰن الرحیم, he is humiliated like a fly and returns.

  It is in a hadith.

  That work which should not be started in the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.  He is unblessed.
