*A few hadiths of Durood Sharif*

The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Whoever recites Durood on me once, Allah will send ten Durood on him (narrated by Muslim and Abu Dawud).

The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said that whoever is mentioned to me should send blessings on me and whoever sends blessings on me once, Allah will send blessings on him 10 times and will forgive him ten sins.  And will raise it 10 degrees (narrated by Ahmad and Nisa'i)

 
Hazrat Abu Talha Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) says that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came very cheerfully.  The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: The message of my Lord has come in which Allaah says: Whoever sends blessings upon me from my ummah once, Allaah will write ten good deeds for him and  He will forgive his ten sins and raise him ten degrees.

  The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said that on the Day of Resurrection, the person closest to me will be the one who will send the most blessings on me.

In another place, Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates the instruction of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to send blessings on me frequently, so at the beginning of the grave you will be asked about me.
  In another place it is said that sending blessings on me on the Day of Resurrection is light in the darkness of Pul-e-Sirat and whoever wants his deeds under the scales should send blessings on me frequently in another hadith.  Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) has narrated that the one who saves the most from his horrors on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sends blessings on me the most in the world.

  Ibn Mas'ud (may Allaah be pleased with him) narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) that there are many angels of Allaah who roam the earth and send greetings on behalf of my ummah.

  Hazrat Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) has narrated that Allah (swt) has appointed an angel over my grave who has been given the power to listen to the words of all creatures.  But he will continue to send Durood till the Day of Judgment. That angel sends Durood to me in the name of him and his father.

Hazrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates the instruction of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that whoever sends blessings on me near my grave, I hear him and whoever sends blessings on me from afar, he reaches me.  Is given.

Hazrat Abi Bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) asked, "O Messenger of Allah, if I want to send blessings upon you in abundance, how much of it should you set in your prayers?"  The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: As much as you like, I asked, O Messenger of Allaah, a quarter?  The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: You have the option and if you increase it, it is better for you.  The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: You have the option and if you increase it, it is better for you. I asked you to do two-thirds?  The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: You have the option and if you increase it, it is better for you. I said: O Messenger of Allaah!  The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: In that case, all your worries will be satisfied and your sins will be forgiven.

Hazrat Abu Darda (RA) has narrated the instruction of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) that whoever recites Durood Sharif ten times in the morning and ten times in the evening, my intercession will reach him on the Day of Resurrection.

Hazrat Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) has narrated the instruction of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) that whoever sends Durood to me, an angel will take this Durood and present it in the holy court of Allah (swt).  It happens that you take this Durood to the grave of my servant, he will ask forgiveness for him and because of this his eye will be cool.
